Grandma & Grandpa's surprise visit-Nov 26-29th!

What a fun surprise this was! My parents decided to fly down to Colorado to spend Thanksgiving with us and the girls! If that's not something to be thankful for, I don't know what is :-) It really made for a very special 1st thanksgiving with the twins. And, I always welcome the extra arms to help hold, feed, bathe and put to bed...all of which grandma and grandpa love! We were able to even get out and do a little shopping...for the babies of course! such deprived children, HA! think we need bigger closets in our next home.......

Lexi's crawling!!

So...our little Lexi has been trying and trying sooo hard to crawl these last few weeks! And, well....yesterday she succeeded and took her first real 'steps' (crawls) forward! CRAZY! its so exciting and scary all the same!! i'm so not ready for both these girls to be on the go! holy moly....watch out! Lex is quite rambunctious(how do you spell that?)....so i know i'm in for it with her! And Kate...she's going about things at her own pace, but am sure she'll just up and go one of these days very soon! And, Kate unfortunately now has the bug Lexi had last week we think :-(. She's running a fever, congested and just feeling yucky. you can even see it in the pics i just posted from yesterday...poor baby.

Christmas a bit early....hehe

Some day my daughters will want to kill me for showing these to anyone, but I thought they were just too cute not to! We took these when my mom was in town a few weeks ago. We were getting ready for their big Christmas ‘photo shoot’ at Babies R Us, which…..unfortunately was not too successful. We are headed back this coming Tuesday for round 2! Hopefully our Chirstmas cards won’t be blank thies year! Wish us luck J

Grandma's visit-Nov 2-9

Mom(grandma) was in town Sunday to Sunday this week and we had an amazing time as always!  She was an incredible help to me and the girls.  Plus, just a lot of fun!  Unfortunately she and I are terrible about taking pictures...so, none to share from her trip!  We keep saying we'll get better next time :-) It's always so hard form me to see her go.  We are spending the girls first Christmas in Seattle this year with grandma and grandpa.  Will be sure to take lots of photos on that trip :-)

Both girls have gotten their two bottom teeth! Its pretty exciting, yet not so fun for them we know, ouch! the girls have been real troopers through this teething business...although we know we have a long way to go!!
